so ..... let the beginnings begin!

having recently commenced my PCET course.... my second day in and my angst is still yet to disperse. Its a strange feeling excitement but terror aswell..I'm waiting for the panic to start ringing in my ears! silly i guess! so openly and new to blogger a topic addressed earlier today was on social networking in reference to Pinterest we discussed reasons why it could be used as a positive tool for students within and outside of the classroom. I myself use Pinterest on a daily basis i annoy my fiance terribly because of how often i spend killing the hours browsing through several pins. ....So what is it that I enjoy? I guess initially its the visual aspect the fact that images are instantly at my fingers more so than Google or any other and that i can be selective or general with how i browse the photo library can be one of sophistication in the sense a range of resource levels can be brought up and reached through links to journals, book and other carefully addressed areas of interest. Suddenly as a illustrator or when researching during my educational ears Pinterest has been a source of inspiration a space that i can enter and immediately i am stimulated by what i am seeing. It also influences me in general i.e few weeks back was my mothers birthday I wanted to bake a cake so i searched key word Cakes and walla! cakes cakes cakes and not only that instruction on how to! Fabulous move aside Delia Smith we have the modern cook book interactive and to hand!
