Daily reflection

It goes without saying that ICT enhances teaching and learning for all age groups. However having said that it is forever developing and changing so to use ICT correctly can be difficult particularly if you’re not ICT savvy! To confidently educate I believe you need to be confident in your tools... Starting a blog today reminded me that I don't easily get on with blogging and I envy those who can just do it! Given time I hope I can get the ball rolling as it can be a good resource particularly if it has a strong direction and purpose. As a teacher putting your point of view across about a designer, application or programme, exhibition ect and have individuals with similar interests be able to see and discuss opinions is enriching and can also continue outside of the class so that's an update on blogs...the other topics where ICT in reference to Web2 technologies having been shown a clip it give me a taster to all that's possible! I expect students would already be active with this and I will look into it more to see how I can use it to benefit a class of students. On social networking we are aware that it’s a public space for most things but we can also agree that it's a active, instant and time saving resource for finding out information I.e. a question can be asked and answered in minutes..Yes the answers may not all be useful but it can be selective and before you know it someone's posted a link, told you to check it out and you've got access to something you may not have ever come across. So in that aspect it's great!
